fuckyeahtheprincessandthefrog: Since there always is some debate over the princesses. This is the official Disney Princess website, I see 9 girls here. Disney has decided that Mulan is a Disney Princess and as much as you want to believe she’s not a princess, she is. It is true that she does not become royalty in any of the movies but that doesn’t matter, if Disney says she’s a Disney Princess, then she is. I think Disney wanted to make an Asian princess and they decided to use that story because they wanted a strong female heroine, but she was going to be a princess no matter what. So my point is, if Disney says Mulan is one of their princesses, then she is. At Disneyland, if I want to see Mulan I have to go to the Princess Fairy Tale thing, she wouldn’t be there if she wasn’t a princess. This is just me ranting but I’m tired of Mulan and Pocahontas always getting crap about being a princess. I’ve always kind of considered a majority of the Disney females princesses even if they aren’t technically princesses. Like Esmeralda and Megara! What?! They get shafted just because they’re not princesses?! Boo.
